ITM AG announced today the successful close of a convertible loan financing totaling EUR 90 million (USD 109 million) led by Petrichor Healthcare Capital Management with participation of additional undisclosed investors. The proceeds will support the expansion of ITM’s precision oncology pipeline as well as fund late-stage development and market access activities for lead candidate, n.c.a. 177Lu-Edotreotide, currently in a phase III trial in gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs). Under the terms of the agreement, the loan will convert into shares of ITM in the event of certain future financial or other corporate development transactions. Further details of the financing were not disclosed.

The investment from Petrichor and the syndicate recognizes our clinical and corporate achievements to date and enables us to further leverage the full potential of nuclear medicine for cancer patients,” commented Steffen Schuster, Chief Executive Officer of ITM.
In conjunction with the financing, Tadd Wessel, Founder and Managing Partner at Petrichor, will join ITM’s supervisory board. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare financing sector and was formerly a Managing Director at OrbiMed Advisors, where he led the build-out of the healthcare special situations and structured finance business.

ITM schließt 90M EUR (109M USD) Finanzierungsrunde zur Stärkung seiner präzisionsonkologischen Pipeline und der laufenden Phase-3-Studie ab
Finanzierungsrunde, angeführt von Petrichor Healthcare Capital Management, stärkt ITMs Position als global führendes Unternehmen in der Präzisionsonkologie und der zielgerichteten Radionuklidtherapie
ITM AG gab heute den erfolgreichen Abschluss einer Finanzierungsrunde mittels Wandelanleihen über insgesamt 90 Millionen EUR (109 Millionen USD) bekannt. Diese wurde von Petrichor Healthcare Capital Management angeführt. Die Einnahmen werden die Erweiterung von ITMs präzisionsonkologischer Pipeline sowie die späte Entwicklungsphase und Marktzulassung des Hauptproduktkandidaten n.c.a. 177Lu-Edotreotid unterstützen. N.c.a. 177Lu-Edotreotid befindet sich derzeit in einer Phase-3-Studie für gastroenteropankreatische neuroendokrine Tumore (GEP-NETs). Gemäß der Vereinbarung werden die Anleihen im Falle bestimmter, zukünftiger Finanztransaktionen oder anderer definierter Geschäftsentwicklung in ITM-Aktien umgewandelt. Weitere Details der Finanzierung wurden nicht bekannt gegeben.

Tadd Wessel, Gründer und Managing Partner bei Petrichor, wird in Zusammenhang mit der Finanzierungsrunde ITM's Aufsichtsrat beitreten. Er hat über 20 Jahre Erfahrung als Investor im Gesundheitswesen und war zuvor Managing Director bei OrbiMed Advisors, wo er den Bereich strukturierte Finanzierungen und Sonderfinanzierungen im Gesundheitswesen ausgebaut hat.
